Welcome to the Rotary Club of Iowa City AM!
This Club was chartered on January 19th, 1989 by members of the Rotary Club of Iowa City and since its inception has met on Tuesday mornings at 7 a.m. We currently have 65 active members who range in age from under 30 to over 80. You will find ours a cheerful, lively and socially active group. Members are involved in many local community projects and also many international projects through Rotary International.
The A.M. Club
The A.M. club meets weekly on Tuesday mornings at 7 a.m. in-person at the Kirkwood Room with a Zoom option.
The P.M. Companion Club
The P.M. Companion Club was established in 2021 and meets the third Tuesday evening of the month at Vesta Restaurant in Coralville. Social time is held from 5:00-5:30pm, with the meeting following from 5:30-6:30pm.
Rotary International
Fun fact: Rotary was founded by Paul P. Harris, who received his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1891 and started Rotary in 1905. Today, our local clubs are part of a global network of 1.2 million Rotarians who put “Service Above Self.” Learn more about Rotary International here.
