PDG Chris Knapp And Foundation Chair for District 6000 spoke on The Rotary Foundation.  He spoke about Polio and Global and District Grant.  He discussed the various levels of giving from Paul Harris to Arch Klumph Society
President Seaba called the meeting to order at 7:05 am .  Alta Medea-Peters announced that City High Interact was riding on November 18th and want to have a $300 challenge with out club.
Jenny Seylar announced that West High Interact was riding during one of their meetings.  John Ockenfels announced that the District Nominating Committee interviewed for District Governor 2022-2023.  Dick Huber announced the Ride to End Polio Nov. 16-Nov. 23  He passed out the pledge sheets.  We have 11 riders this year.
New Members Allison Bettine and Jennifer De La Cruz were inducted as new members.  Their sponsor was Nancy Pacha.  Kate Sojka membership chair handed the new member packets to the mentors.  The mentor for Allison is jenny Seylar and the mentor for Jennifer is Deb Dunkhase.  There were 5 members that rode on Friday with Brian Adamac at Core Fitness. Brian collected $30.00 from non members at the club. Dave Parsons said his family was being honored at the University for five generations going to the University of Iowa.
Chris Knapp Foundation Chair continued his speech on the Foundation.  The year 2016-17 DG Knapp's year was one of the highest ever funds raised ($479,000) He also had a Legacy Dinner that raised $1,079,478. 
He spoke about the Vocational Training Teams:  Club Foot, Midwifery, water  We have two Rotary Scholars this year each receiving $30,000.
