Casey Cook: "What Jazzes You Up?" with Mary Murphy. Mary is an attorney, instructor, and mother. Casey asked how she could balance all these professions? She said her husband Gregg does a lot of the house keeping and share a lot of home duties. They use to be neighbors with the Cook's. She is currently teaching Business Law to Seniors at the Tippe School of Business. She received her undergrad at Marquette in Milwaukee and her law degree at the U of I School of Law. She grew up near Chicago.

Gratitude and Moments of Joy was shared by Pat Schnack. She talked about the opportunities that Rotary has offered : Locally, MOW, dictionaries to 4th graders. Internationally, An NID to India, Iowa Most, and several times to Xicotepec four times. She talked about taking a child back to a parent after Cleft surgery in a blanket made by Nancy Stensvang.
Amy announced the District events coming up: March 27 District Training Assembly for all members to learn about Rotary. District Conference, Hybrid model April 24 from 4:30-9:00 in person and 5:30-9:00 hybrid. International Rotary Convention June 12,-16 Hybrid Taiwan.
Vernette Knapp gave a Polio Bike Ride update; to date we have raised $500. Deadline for ride: April 10-Checks to Vernette by April 12.
City High Interact will hopefully participate individually. An Anonymous donor will match their ride. Nancy Pacha will pledge $100 toward West High Interact riders. Deb Ockenfels held up the quilt she is making for District Conference. Governor Dakin is working on how the Hybrid attendees can make a bid in the Chat Box. Pat Schnack is Mary Murphy's mentor.
Mary continue to tell the story of a plane crashing near their home. PDG John Ockenfels was called to the airport to help with the fire and investigation.
Mary and family enjoy traveling. Gregg sometimes goes north to fish for a couple of weeks. Mary takes the kids on International trips and trips to the U.S.
