Program:  International Convention, Hamburg, Germany.  PDG John Ockenfels and Deb and PDG
Chris Knapp and Vernette attended the International Convention and reported on some of the Highlights.
President Hazel called the meeting to order.
Casey Cook has been a member for 11 years.  Food Fight through the month of July.
Deb Ockenfels will get the fresh produce.  Checks are welcome $1.00 buys five pounds of food.
She Collected today enough for 2500 pounds of food.
Can sorting went well with nine volunteers.  The total brought in $548.00
Perfect Attendance Certificates were awarded to 45 Active members 61% of the club.
Congratulations to all.  There were four presented to Charter members.  Roger Christian, Chris Knapp, John Ockenfels, and Dave Parsons.
 
Susie Polton, program chair introduced the Knapp's and Ockenfel's to talk about International Convention.   John and Deb talked about pre-travels  in Germany.  The reason to go to the convention is to meet new friends and old friends.  John spent a lot of time with the Flying Fellowship.  Deb and John also spent time in the Rag for Club Foot Booth.
Chris and Vernette also worked in the Rag for Club Foot Booth.  They also attended two special events:  The Past Rotary International Presidents and Past District Governor Dinner.  This gives you a chance to be with Past R. I. Presidents and some of the Past District Governors in your class.
They also attended the last Zone 28-29 class reunion.  Next Year we will become Zone 29 and move west and lose Eastern Partners.
 Chris mentioned a man that sang as a boy in Seoul, Korea and now is an opera singer. At one time this man was a homeless little boy and he has made something of himself.
Chris also mentioned the great opportunity see many Rotarian from all the country. A chance to enhance Rotary Youth Exchange.
