Announcements
Announcements included that the club would raise $750 by helping at Octoberfest. Two more volunteers for two hour shifts. Unfortunately, that is the same day as Rotary Leadership training for several of the club members.
Mark Patton announced that the Sat. recycling of cans in Coralville was successful.
Ann Romanowski reminded the club that there were still a few openings for the French dinner to be held at Valerie Martin’s on Thursday. This is a fund raiser for the club and a fun activity.

John Yapp, Iowa City urban planner, was the guest speaker and provided information on several new projects in the Iowa City area. These developments include several downtown projects and also large housing construction on the Eastern and Western part of Iowa City. There are several projects that include office space, duplexes, condo’s, low income housing and single housing lots.
