Last week's election results:  Dick Huber will be President-Elect in 2017-18 while Amy Nicholson and Ann Langenfeld will come on board with 3 year Director terms from 2017-18 through 2019-20.  Congratulations!

Book plates were added to school dictionaries during the meeting.  They will be distributed to six ICCU schools.  Members signed up to distribute the books after the holidays.

The Trivia Night at Mellow Mushroom will be on January 17.  Form teams of four now at $25 per participant.  Encourage people in other clubs and non-Rotarians to sign up as well.

Jean Knepper volunteered to take on the task of coordinating our Meals on Wheels drivers.  A new list should be out shortly.

Deb PVA reminded everyone to bring a sharp pair of scissors to the next meeting as we will be working on a volunteer service project that will involved cutting out different shapes and patterns.

Rotarians in the News-- Dave Parsons had an entertaining and informative piece in the Press Citizen about elevator buttons.  There was a major spread over the weekend about the two Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity build houses that were dedicated.

There were many happy bucks contributed, in particular for the many members who either have already celebrated family Christmases, or will do so over next weekend with kids, grandkids and other family.

Program

Deb Pullin-VanAucken led the group in sharing brief favorite Christmas moments throughout the years.  Everyone shared and we all had a good time getting to know our Rotary family a little better.
